Hi, totally new here with ESDR3 and this is my first attempt to run it.

Linux Mint 21 (Ubuntu 22.04)
ESDR3 v13
MSHV 2.66

Conecting ESDR3 via TCI for both rig controll and ausio.
1. PTT is working Ok
2. RX is not working at start-up in MSHV, it is not starting until I have enabled TX/PTT from MSHV, then it seems ok.
3. TX is not working. I can see that signal is looking Ok in mic on ESDR3 settings and mic level (close to 0dB) but never shows any forward power and current consumption is only PA bias-current (goes from 0.6 to 4A).

Any hints would be appreciated!

Ubuntu (currently 22.04) x64 is the only Linux distro for dev/test/prod.

Mint is unsupported in ESDR3. Sure you can "tweak around" Mint yourself and make some features work. However whatever features are not working under Mint - those will not be accepted as "bugs".

As Pavel mentioned- that is an unsupported version of Linux

Here are the tested versions for V3

ExpertSDR3 minimal system requirements:

ОS Windows 10 x64 or later versions, Linux Ubuntu 22.04 x64 and the latest version of macOS 11
Please do not email me and ask for help I no longer will be part of this, If I could delete /remove my profile I would do so.

Thanks, then I know why.
I have to give it a try, but Ubuntu 22 doesn't fit my needs in other ways, doesn't support cqrlog and installing flatpaks and getting out of the "sandbox" ...
Ill maybe try a dedicated pc then :)

Thanks again guys!!

cqrlog should be OK with 22.04. Worst case - just compile from source.

Also there is linlog listed in TCI SW section - this one works on Ubuntu and Mint.

I managed to build CQRLOG after giving it another try this weekend.

Time to try v3 again :wall:
Is it still MSHV that goes as FT8 client in a v3 setup?

Ok, another go and now everything works except TX.

When tuning from MSHV I can see input level on TX goes close to 0dB and Mic.1 toggles to TCI and PTT works, drive sett to ~50% but no output power/carrier.
I guess it something obvious I'm missing here?

I can make it work now if using USB instead of FT8 mode.

Known bug?

One issue I have noticed is when shifting bands from ESDR3 connected to JTDX via TCI, sometimes the audio connection breaks (especially TX).
I have to restart JTDX to get it working again.
