Hello,
I wanted to use the SUNDR2 for JT65 operation.
I managed to receive signals via VAC.
But I never got a signal transmitted.
The TX is on but no Signal goes out. Power-Output is 0 with COMP off and a carrier is transmitted with COMP on.
In both cases no modulation. I use PC-MIC as input.

Can someone give me a hint ???

Martin,

I use JT654 very effectively with the SunSDR2 Pro. I use WSJT-X. You need to set the transmit audio stream on WSJT to the Virtual audio cable as well as setting the receive stream to the virtual audio cable. I also use com0com as virtual COM ports to route the PTT as DTR to the SunSDR2 Pro. I find that I cannot use the 'Fake it' mode of WSJT-X with the virtual TS-480 emulation of the SunSDR2 Pro.

If you like I can send you details fof my settings.

Hi Steve,

Try to use OMNIRIG in between WSJTx and SUNSDR.
Setup TS480 with all necessary parameters in OMNIRIG. In
WSJT select then Omnirig1 (or2) as TRX.

It works here ok with WSJT 1.8x and new 1.9 release. Unlike the WSJT dll for TS480 OMNIRIG does NOT crash when you set frq manually (mouse or USB wheel) nor when you use preprogrammes frequencies from Sun memory.

Combined with PST rotator you can track satellites or moon (provided you have two rotarors & a recognised interface)
The software does also correct for doppler, using the split function-

Unfortunately MSHV (2m FSK) does not have option to use Omnirig. Seems I am the only one asking for such an option -
so some support on this issue would be beneficial.....
