I was testing my configuration with SUNSDR2PRO and SDC in CQ WW 160m contest.
All OK. Just small issue:
When there are many spots on Panorama, EXPERTSDR2 became slow... Not to slow; you could move OK with E-coder - but still...
I have AMD X6 1090 (six cores) 16GB RAM and ATI Radeon 6570, running N1MM+, SDC and ESDR2, during contest.

Any recommendations?

Your video card is from 2011, so I think that may be an issue, maybe a newer faster one more Memory would be better.
you did not mention what windows platform your using, but I be a better VIDEO Card would help a lot

I think this issue has nothing to do with video cards. Proof is that you can run a video diagnostic on the same screen and at the same time as ESDR2 is exhibiting the problem and the video in the diagnostic will be without issues. Furthermore, running ESDR2 on the most up-to-date video card does not help. Therefore, it appears to be a bug in ESDR2 and as such was reported back in October 2017 and again in November 2017. The current workaround, until the solution is given to us, is to clear the Spots - not that it takes long to get back to the problem threshold but left to its own conclusion it will end up with SDC crashing (as reported by Ray G3XLG), possibly due to a failure in the TCI link.

I will try other card ( I have NVIDIA QUADRO FX3700 - old but good) just to see if any difference...

@g0cgl

Erik: I will do some investigation. Thanks for tips and info.
I will try configuration on Linux but its gonna be hard to find so crowded band again ... :D

February 17/18th is ARRL Int. CW Contest. If the ESDR2 programmer tackled this issue before then, together with finalising TCI implementation, it could be tested that weekend. Otherwise the lack of usability of the software during contests will become a protracted issue affecting this year's major contest season.

Erik!

You were 100% right on graphic card... If you run any GPU test, that does not effect running ESDR SW. Not that I could "fill" it.
Hope that Rome is following our posts...

Yes and I remember.... I had one or two crashes of SDC as well.

Actually now that I have reduced Spot Settings Lifetime to 4 minutes in EESDR, I have had no more crashes of ESDR or SDC, but, not tried it again in big CW contest either!
I expect everyone at Expert Electronics are getting ready to go to Florida for HamCation at the end of next week though & Roman has already told me their Senior Programmer is away on business until next week too

Roman has today asked for, and been provided with, a reminder of this issue. So we can be sure that it will be investigated, though probably not in time for the next major CW event. Perhaps in time for WPX CW. There are IQ files available that will simulate a CW contest and the tendency for Spot saturation, so the Programmer is able to proceed with diagnoses depending on other priorities.
