DM780 issue with ExpertSDR2 06 Apr 2018 15:49 #1

Hello,

I just connected my SunSDR2 Pro with HRD (v6.3.0.604) through the CAT. Rig control and decoding CW/RTTY is ok but I cannot transmit.

I've used com0com to create a pair of virtual cables and VAC.

Do I also have to set another pair of cable to enable the PTT and or the keying (CW/RTTY), please?

Many thanks for your attention.

Best regards and best 73'

With Ham Radio Deluxe there are 2 main methods of enabling TX. The first is PTT via CAT. This is explained in the HRD documentation so I need not repeat it here. The other method is, as you surmised, to create a virtual cable between ESDR2 and HRD for PTT. This is explained in the User Manual Addendum. www.dropbox.com/s/lhvwwuyuxpoq7gs/2017%20Expert%20Electronics%20Addendum.pdf?dl=0
