Is the communication protocol for the e-coder proprietary or is it available somewhere? It could be sniffed using a protocol analyzer but it would of cause be a lot easier if the documentation was readily available! 8-)

E-Coder panels are HID devices, not MIDI, the protocol to control E-Coder panel is proprietary, we do not share it.
