Hello karsten,

My Rasbian PI 3 with the correct server software, worked straight out of the “box”. I do experience the same as you with the 2-3 sec delay, but it is very stable. The openVPN solution is also currently running on a Rasbian PI4+. My friend was able to finds the solution to bridge the VPN to my local network. Seems to work well but need more testing. We use the OpenVPN client software on our laptop, you only need to modify a couple of line in the config file. I tested this from remote location via 4G+ using my mobile phone as a hotspot. In my car……… PC > Ecoder2+ and CW key

Hey,
sounds really interesting, so as soon as you con send some information about the changes in the config file, I would like to try it. I use also OpenVPN and something called FIP-Box to generate a fixed IP on the station side.! With ERS I have quite a big delay of 2-3 seconds, which I was not used to using a Flex!

Thomas,

How do I watch your ERS video? It’s marked private.

Hello ESR+Raspberry users!

After creating a Rapberry installation SD with ERS image file, I will show you how to log in via SSH.

1.Connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to Raspberry
2. After the Raspberry starts up, use another computer to start up the IP scanner, etc.
  Check the IP address of the Raspberry (let's say it is 192.168.1.10)
3.Launch a terminal.

Type $ sudo raspi-config
2. Select Interface Options → I2 SSH and enable SSH
Press the Yes button → Press the OK button → Press the Finiash button to exit
5. Create a new user for SSH connection (let's say "ers")
$ sudo sudo adduser ers
Enter New Password "********".
passwd: password updated successfully
Changing the user information for ers
Enter the new value, or press ENTER for the default
Full Name :Enter
Room Number :Enter
Work Phone :Enter
Home Phone :Enter
Other []:Enter
This is correct [Y/n] y
6. Grant sudo privileges to ers
 $ sudo gpasswd -a ers sudo
*At this point you should be able to SSH from the outside
IP=192.168.1.10 User="ers" Passwd="*******"
