Hello,
I run my SunSDR2Pro remotely via ERS and the receiving works perfect. If I try to TX the Sun switches in TX (Red button at the screen and red LED at the TRX) but I get no power output. I think to remember, that I read something here some where. But I don't know where and when. So what I am doing wrong. Drive it up and the data in BM is ok.
If I switch to LAN I can get TX power with the same settings.
Do I have to allow the User or the TRX to run TX remotely?!

Make sure you have the latest ESDR3 1.0.3 and 86.8 firmware.
TX in CW mode is impossible.

Hello Rome,
I looked into the calibration data and if I log in local I can change the values and the values are all at 20.
If I login remotely the menue is gray, I can not change the values and they are all at 100?!

Could this be the problem!?

Thats correct, no transmit on CW.
I am able to transmit on LSB and USB, haven't tried AM or data, yet.
The 2tone also works.

Hello Tom,

thanks for you note, is it possible that you check the calibration values in your setup?!
Would be great to know if it is different or the same as I have?!
Thanks

Hello Karsten.
Please file a bug report in GitHub about this - github.com/ExpertSDR3.
Power correction menu is not implemented in ERS, it can be displayed, but it's not working. This is not the reason why you don't have output power.

Hello,

so I guess it is allready reported here:

github.com/ExpertSDR3/ExpertSDR3-BUG-TRACKER/issues/392

github.com/ExpertSDR3/ExpertSDR3-BUG-TRACKER/issues/371

So is there any need for making a new bug report?!

I did not try to move the drive button yet, as described, I will try this during the weekend!

Once more me,

just for me and my generell understanding, is my TX problem, which seems to me reported, a problem everybody has
who wants to use ExpertSDR3 ERS? Or is it just a problem some OM have?!

So is there anybody using remote pressing TX and it works?

Don't get me wrong, I love the sun and the team does a great job. Just want to know,, if it makes sence to test and work on
my setup, if there is a way to get it running, or is it a generell bug!

Yes i'm using ERS. Both on windows11 and ubuntu the client/server works.

I usually run MSHV trough ERS for FT8.

Make sure that the EESDR3 software is not powered on on the server side. The software can be running but you have to press the off button so that the ERS server software can control your tranceiver.

Hey,
ok, so it is not a generell issue, so there is a chance of me making something wrong, which makes me on the other hand quite happy.
So Do I have to start the device manager on the server side?! or even the software without pressing the power on button!?
So fare I only started the "starter! file!

you only have to start the "starter file". And to turn on the tranceiver using the client software

At work i have installed "EESDR3 Device Manager"

At other QTHs:
windows11 or ubuntu
the tranceiver is connected with ethernet cable
i start the "starter"

But i think that the first time you have to set the driver etc for each band and mode.
