The EQ is a PARAMETRIC EQ

the EQ can have Both the FREQUENCY and the (Q) or Bandwidth changed unlike some other manufactures the FREQUNCYs are NOT locked and you can adjust them per your individual needs - Voice-Mic etc.

But you need to know HOW to use a Parametric EQ of you can can certainly make your self sound like shit.

another decent video for adjusting is here

Use a 2nd receiver set at the SAME BANDWITH you are transmitting or use a webSDR
Listening in the MONITOR application of the software ( in any radio I have used or tested) isn't good not a true representation of the audio from your TX

Also while on this topic of the Processor section in both V2 and V3 there is a "ROTATION" setting
just to clarify what this does first I will mention it really was geared more for AM mode

Typical Baritone or lower range voices can be 4+ dB asymmetrical- meaning having many - peaks in the waveform
The job of Phase Rotation, in a nutshell, is to create a more Symmetrical waveform which creates a more positive peak and reduces the (peak to average ratio) it can if used and set correctly increase modulation percentages of an AM (Amplitude Modulated) Transmitted signal

Typically there is a very broad-banded filter of 4 poles centered around 200Hz (hence the baritone or lower register frequency of voices which seem to have in some cases a more - (Asymmetrical waveform) the rotation makes these more Symmetrical
