the following video is how I current use EESB with the SunSDR2DX

I have profiles saved in the X-Air and in EESDR to go from 4/6/8 K TX bandwidths

Bang for buck and keeping external cabling at a minimum to avoid RF what can be done with an X-AIR over the cost of several pieces of gear.

I have a full rack sitting here---- Thing about trying this out.

My DX arrives tomorrow. I currently run a 6 component rack with my flex 5000. This X-Air has me questioning the rack lol

I was on the X-AIR last night with you when we were on 40-
I know the conditions were not all that great but hopefully you got a decent copy and idea of how it performs

one day when conditions are good and bandwidth allows I'll open to 8K on TX for you

BTW a lot of improvement last evening with your audio and I see replied via email between us on the ASIO driver which is what i suspected for your M-Audio

I really like the convenience of the black box. I have it on a separate PC monitor so all the adjustments are right in front of me ready to be tweaked of needed. I have not yet had a chance to get a good/strong webSDR recording yet, but so far I am pleased. I did update mine to the latest firmware! Now if we can get the little SunSDR DX in the mail will be a happy camper!

Any recommendation or initial set-up that you recommend to me to start configuring my audio.

Yes been running the XR-18 for years...if anyone would like a copy of a few of my "scenes", email me and I'll send you some samples... As a consultant for Nielsen Broadcasting, I can attest that if it was audio gear ... I used and tested it... Helped start the Audio ESSB movement back in the late 80ies, with W2ONV etc...

Mic inout on XLR 3 and using phantom power-
output to DI box to get closer to NIC2 input impedance

prifile good from 4K -10K with a really nice curve at 8K really balanced and smooth

Scene for XAIRs attached just import and adjust to your level and eq needs

Mic used is a small diaphram Blue "Ember"
