Regarding JTDX, in the SunPro2 DX forum there is a post that mentions a new version of the software that isn't available on the main website. (Yet).

Well, apart from known things (which are due to fix in next alpha) I have only "cosmetics", everything else from current feature set just work.

Saying "cosmetics" I mean something like Ecoder encoders trigger 2 steps in SW with only one step of encoder (i.e you turn encoder one step and associated command, say Volume, moves from value 80 to 82, not 81). Or mismatch I read between dBm shown on SWR meter and left scale of bandscope.

Been working on 30 meters for few hours yesterday - no single disconnect, everything stable (Mac). Under Mac the issue when you have to do additional steps to shutdown application - also gone.

Time to chase Roman for the next Alpha? 8-)

I downloaded the TCI client software which is available from the Software > Software with TCI support tab. This is available for Windows and works against the v3 0.9.0 software. This is useful because it shows the current radio configuration. Using the software, you can see what is going on in terms of TX/RX frequencies. It clearly shows the problem mentioned previously regarding 2M memory locations. There isn't a refresh button to re-read the full radio config so you have to stop the radio (State > Start), disconnect/reconnect (Connect *2) then start the radio again (State > Start). The TCI button needs to be enabled in the ExpertSDRv3 software and the port number needs to match. The default for v3 is 50001 so you will need to change the port in the TCI client software which defaults to 40001.

Tom, if you are talking about client from official TCI repository at Github - this is outdated, it is based on TCI prior 1.4, Current TCI is 1.6. Apparently EE said this client was build as an example only, never targeted to be used in production. There plenty apps already with TCI support. Even more people are building stuff for themselves and it is not listed on the site. If you will explain what you want to achieve - most likely someone already has it.

TCI-based full status of the transceiver you can see if you right click on TCI in main window, then click on Log View (right under port) and then connect any TCI capable software, for example SDC. First connect to TCI websockets will trigger full status from SunSDR2 and then log goes alive. It is a bit laggy at the moment, eats a lot of resources (request to refactor it is pending EE development).

Pavel (I think?), the main reason for downloading the TCI client was to get a view of the current radio config. This has helped trying to understand what was happening when saving 2M frequencies, shift and tone into a memory channel. When the memory channel was recalled, the radio was not TXing on the correct frequency. The client helped me understand what was happening. I did know about the log feature available under the TCI button but for some reason the scroll bars and mouse scroll are not working for me. The re-cycle bin sits over the down scroll button. Maybe I should report a bug.

I do not think native TCI log is currently scrollable under this version. Under mac I cannot scroll it there, just wipe the screen by clicking that bucket icon.

Well, if you sorted what you after out - cool. If not, I can point you to the console app, which has scrollable TCI log.

Typo - When you highlight B.M. it says "Show Band Manger", should read "Show Band Manager".
Great software! With the upgrade to 0.9, I have made a permanent move to ExpertSDR3 with my SunSDR2 PRO.

Still cannot do SSB-transmissions here.... Annoying.

Tune ok. But when going into TX and doing noise into mike - No output.

Comes without saying that I use the same mike/PC when using my DX-rig with ESDR2.

Hi
I tried to work CQWW with ESD3 0.9 and 5M Logger but it is not possible how much I heard crackling in the headphones when the 5M logger is started.
I used MB1 win10 connected to Sun SDR2 DX. has anyone else noticed anything similar? the headphones are plugged into the SunSDR2 DX.
MB1 I7 6700T, 16G RAMA. Samsung EVO SSD.

I have stopped using 5M about few years ago for exactly the same reason - crackling on CW. It was on Macbook Pro.

Also I have noticed few problems of TCI communication between ESDR3 and many apps compiled under Qt5. Meantime same apps compiled under Qt6 - no issues.
