Not really complaining. I found it easier to just edit the json file directly to set the port number.

Unfortunately I don't know what feature is being tested at the moment to I was just answering the previous poster about how EESDR3 was working.

Roman !ESDR2 10 has not been released for the MB-1, although you have put it on the site for other models for a long time! I want to say that ESDR3 still has errors that were written to you. in addition, demonstrated with a video!!!

If this is ALPHA then I am extremely impressed. I love it. I haven't had an issue. CW mode is amazing. RX audio is stunning.

Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Hello everyone.
This Wednesday we plan to send ESDR3 0.10.0 to testers.

ATTENTION:
If you can't provide a proper bug report with a structured explanation of the found issue and screenshots, or video (best case scenario) - please don't do it.
We get a lot of one-line bug reports which only clog the email and take additional time to process. In the end, they might be just a misunderstanding of how the ESDR3 works.
We DO appreciate the help of testers, their assistance is invaluable for the improvement and development of the new software.

But if you just want to try a new version of ESDR3, please keep it this way.
In the future, we'll have to limit the tester's group. The fact that new versions end up available for everyone else, who cannot deal with issues or bugs and report everything they see is not helping :pardon:

Disclaimer:
Bear in mind that both ExpertSDR3 and ERS are in the alpha state, thus there might be bugs and strange behavior.
At this stage we collect bug reports, we don't know the cause or solution for each issue.
ESDR3 is not documented yet, again, because it's in alpha state, thus requires self-learning.
Rome how do I download ESDR3 10 to try it out?

EESDR3 0.10.0 3rd November 2021 version
Yes, I know this is Alpha. I'm noting this down in case it has not been reported.

I noticed that with EESDR3, that if I set the Spectrum display to "Auto position", say to 10%, and change from a sample rate of 39kHz to 312kHz, the "auto position" is lost until I re-open the settings. Alternative, if I wait for a while, the level will become correct - at 10%. Not a big deal but thought I would mention this if it has not been reported or observed.

Secondly, although E-Coder is detected and usable, the LED light around the main tuning knob is not lit. Again, no big deal but reporting just for comprehensiveness.

Thirdly, there is a small typo in the EESDR3 options - "Calibartions" should be "Calibrations":-

In EESDR3 there is also some scaling issues with the SWR/Power meter when used with 4k screens as shown below. This is more pronounced at 75% zoom through 100%. At 140% it is less pronounced.

Disclaimer: Yes, I know this is Alpha software and not everything is fixed and/or working. Just recording this in case it has not been reported.

Are you using any Scaling within your graphic card options ?
or just within the EESDR (scaling option) what size 4K and what resolution is your card and refresh?

Reason I am asking is from 70-140 I do not experience that here 2560 X 1440 144Hz on 27"

Yes, I do have 150% scaling on my 4K display (43-inches, GTX2080 @3840x2160). At 100% scaling on Windows there is no problem. At 300% scaling, the problem is much worse.

So Your using scaling on your windows graphic driver- and not the scaling within EESDR3 bottom lower right
or are you using both?

I take the 4K display is @43 inches isn't actually a true monitor but perhaps a TV with monitor inputs? I ask because pixel density

I am using 150% scaling on the Windows driver but I also experimented with the scaling in EESDR3. Basically what I found was that when the scaling in EESDR3 approaches the scaling on Windows, the problem goes away. So, say the Windows is scaled to 150% and EESDR3 is at 140%, the problem is largely gone because the two are close. This is not an uncommon problem for QT based applications - it's just something that needs to be taken into account.

The screen is not a TV. It is a very large Dell P4317Q monitor.

The software works fine.
But that the RX AGC, the Mike AGC and the compressor cannot be parametrically set, is bad.

Besides that, I miss the background image in the spectrum scope.

i am just listening cw which is terible to listen to probably due to bad AGC and distortion is created when the reception signal is amplified.
Headset is connected in front panel of Sunsdr2 Dx..
