Thanks for the help Rick I installed the beta but when I try to run v3 the program loads and I hear a click in the MB1 but when I click the power button on after a few seconds I get a message “Lost Connection To MB1”
Any ideas?

I'm on firmware 8, the most recent, for the qrp and have the same issue. It's a firewall issue. Disabling windows public firewall allows it to work. I'm working on tracking it down. Don't want to leave the firewall disabled.

Open the EESDR3 0.10.0 program on the MB-1.. This takes you to the "Start" screen. Click on the gear-like icon in the right lower corner. Near the top of this window, the firmware version is displayed. On initial open following installation, v65.9 firmware is indicated (same firmware used by EESDR2). Then click on the box where the MB1 serial number is displayed.
This initiates a firmware upgrade to v70.9 for the MB-1. EESDR3 0.10.0 works best with this firmware.
Thereafter, EESDR2 update 9 will "complain" that a firmware update is needed. Click on IGNORE, EESDR2 will run. However, you must do this every time you open it.
I guess we need to wait until the firmware conflict is resolved.

You do not have to leave it disabled see my POST under this topic for what needs to be done
