Hello,

I am observing a odd behaviour in my contest setup with N1MM - RadioSync and 0.11 EESDR3 release.
When I send a macro which has one of the "qso" fields, like CALL or REPORT, EESDR3 stops working. I have to press two times the power button to make the rig start again.
It happens only with the described setup: if I use another log like DXLog, Wintest, LogHX3, 5MContest, QARtest everything is fine. ESSDR2 works fine too.
Below is described my setup and I am wondering if someone else can do the test and submit his report.

In your N1MM+ COM2 setup, I am missing a mark in Winkeyer and I think you should test a COMport pair as well.
When using ESDR2 software I was always using a COMport pair for macro keying with Winkey in N1MM and in SunSDR DX CW setup.
I think the Radio Sync app will behave in a similar way?
I am also testing the Radio Sync app as I am typing now :?

Hi Erik,
thank you for your answer.
I found the same problem using a pair, no difference at all.
In addition, I don't think I have to configure the keyer as a winkeyer port because, I suppose, EESDR3 can't handle it.
I am going to use the DTR and RTS lines as I usually do with N1MM and other contest software.

Hi Enzo,
I got it working now on my local SunSDR DX station!

Setup in RadioSync:
- In my setup three COM pairs created in VSPE, com6<=>com7, com8<=>com9, com12<=>com13
- Radio Sync named "N1MM CAT" COM8 38400 <=> N1MM COM9 ExpertSDR, 38400,0,1 off/off
- Radio Sync "N1MM PTT" COM12 38400 <=> N1MM COM13 None, enable CW/Other, set CTR/off, RTS/PTT
-RadioSync "N1MM CW" COM6 38400 <=> N1MM COM7 None, enable CW/Other, set CTR/CW, RTS/off
Make sure that TCI and CAT shows green signals.

Setup in ESDR3:
Enable CW "Breakin" button
Define CW parameters if any
Enable "Iambic" button

Now this works with N1MM CW macros using function keys F1-F12 as well as a paddle connected in the radio KEY.
Band switching via N1MM works fine. :so_happy: :D

Hi,
My SunSDR DX rig is running OK all the time.
At startup the rig is connected at 192.168.0.195:50001
Radio Sync is using TCI port 40001, the same TCI port set on ESDR3, TCI label green.
I have two different ports!
I have only tested this in CW mode, not SSB.

Hi again,
BREAKIN is only active for paddle.
N1MM macro works without BREAKIN as well.

I tested now with the same port 50001 on ESDR3 and RadioSync and everything works fine also now!
Maybe the startup sequence of the apps will play differently.
My sequence is:
1) SunSDR DX rig on
2) ESDR3 Start Port 50001
3) Radio Sync Start. Check sync buttons green
4) N1mm start
It is not depending on TCI port number 50001 or different TCI port 40001 as it seems now.

A sidenote: My SPE Expert 1.3k-FA amplifier is keying just fine as weill. In N1MM PTT port I have set Delay to 25ms to prevent hot keying.

Maybe I found the solution or at least it works for me !
Just increasing the ptt delay from 30ms to 100ms into the N1MM menu and try .
In addiction I create a pair com 8>9 with vspe.
