I am running Linux Mint 20.3 and ExpertSDR2 v.1.3.1 Update11
with SunSDR2 DX.
I have a problem with the stability with USB Logitec Headset.

I see under Souncard config many options to choose:
ALSA HDA Intel ALC3204 analog (guess it is the built in speaker of laptop)
ALSA HDA Intel HDMI
ALSA pulse
ALSA default and few others to select

when i plug in the USB headset i hear audio in the headset if i use the ALSA Pulse for headset, however if i enable ALSA pulse for the mic then the audio is gone sometimes after some seconds or after some minutes.

Question:
do i use it properly? What should i select in the soundcard config to use with USB headset?

Not a life & death problem as i use yeasu mic locally but it would be great to work with headset mic too.

i have been playing with settings and looks like this variation gives the best stability with the USB Headset. Buffer size matters.

Mic: ALSA:pulse
Headset: ALSA:pulse
Buffer: 1024 sample

need longer test time but seemingly better
