To use JTDX with TCI, you need to set a few things:-
The TCI server should be 127.0.0.1:40001 in my case because EESDR is running on the same machine as JTDX and I set my TCI port to 40001 on EESDR3. You should use the port which matches your EESDR TCI port setting.
And you also need to set the audio tab as follows:-
it works fine with these settings but i want to use FT8 mode in version v3 0.12.1
As mentioned before:
FT8 Mode or for that matter any Digital Mode listed in V3 is a PLACEMENT for things to COME period! The only thing FT8 Mode does currently in V3 is set a RX filter that is it! nothing More!
Those tabs are PLACE HOLDERS: the intention at some point MUCH LATTER is to have some of these digital Modes Built into V3 so it doesn't require a 3Rd party application, Again they are PLACE Holders for things to come much later!
Use Dig-U for FT8 /FT4 Etc. and you wont have those issues! just set your TX/RX bandwidth as you se fit and carry on!
Forget about the Modes listed in V3 for Now! until they actually implement those modes it is pointless to select them!
