Salve, qualcuno mi spiega come procedere con la calibrazione della frequenza? Sono andato sulla frequenza campione a 14996 Mhz e sono andato sulla voce Write ma l'Sdr non si è centrato. Nel software si può impostare anche manualmente lo scarto di frequenza ma non capisco quale valore inserire nell'immagine allegato visto che sono spostato di 16 Hz, grazie.

If I go to the sample signal and center the signal at 14996 Mhz and save with WRHITE, I don't hear the changes !!! I am using eesdr 3.0

as an example Mine ended up at 0.000112 the factory setting for mine was 0.000093 if I recall correctly

You need to use either AM or use UPPER then Lower to make sure you are centered on the zero beat, again DO NOT USE SYNCROUS AM MODE

If you use a frequency closer to the center of the bands, you should be closer calibrated through the spectrum of 160-6 Which is why I use 10.000.000 when I calibrate, which I haven't had to do in over a year.

Otherwise look into a reference oscillator and use the connection on back of radio

thanks first of all, I can feel it at +16 Hz, setting that value (-0.000016) I DON'T feel it centered it's still out of frequency! Again You do not adjust the actual Frequency leave that at the centered like in the example using WWV at 10.000.000 you want to enter that as the frequency and LEAVE IT that is what you are adjusting for if your moving that around your going to screw it up even more!

trying using 0.000116 and see what happens or -0.000116. personally, I haven't seen or adjusted any of the 2DX models that have had a negative number, but I suppose that could happen

as a quick test try this: 0.000130- then press write and listen and see if the frequency is now Negative or Positive from zero beat, and adjust up or down from there, in steps of 20 to get closer the closer you get the smaller the value of adjustment you should need to make, press write after each adjustment and listen and adjust again repeat until your satisfied. Press Write each time you make an adjustment and listen and watch the panadapter

Yes, it would be nice if it had an auto correction like in older PowerSDR that would get you close then you manually had to adjust from there, EESDR is manually all the way thru Rember to press WRITE after each adjustment

as a side note I would write down where you are now incase you need to revert to it at some point,

that's why I can't center because the displacement number I have (+ 16Hz) DOES NOT coincide with the number to be entered in the CORRECTION FREQUENCY .... I'll try, thanks !!

You as I said cannot adjust the frequency while you are trying to calibrate, only adjust the number in the calibration field then press write and compare again, and continue until you have the calibration number producing a zero beat the frequency.

As I understand it, "zero beat" refers to two signals that are close in frequency. You hear the heterodyne "beat" as the difference between them. You can tune the frequencies to be the same by adjusting the beat to slow down to zero.
If you tune to the frequency of a time station like WWV in AM mode you can see the carrier in the waterfall but can not hear it as a tone. If you tune 1 kHz lower and use upper side band you will hear a tone at about 1 kHz. You can adjust the calibration by zooming the panadapter all the way in and adjusting the calibration value to center the peak seen to 1 kHz. A better way is to use the free fldigi program in frequency analysis mode and measure frequency in the fft display there.
In the US we can use WWV and the Canadian CHU. In Europe I think you can use RWM (Russia) at 9.996 MHz or 14.996 MHz or EBC (Spain, intermittent) at 15.006 MHz. You can web search for more info on them.
It is a good idea to let the rig warm up before calibrating.

Set offset to 0 in DigU modulator I suspect you left it at default

almost all DIGU modes use 0 offset
RTTY which is typically a DIGL mode has an offset

so I question just what mode your using in which you say your TX is off but RX isn't, to me that sounds like your using DigU and your not using a 0 offset
