When is it likely that further updates to ExpertSDR3 will be provided?

Thanks for video Rick, did not see anything about BS and in transveter can you now change the 430 mhz to 222 mhz I cannot on 12 was hoping I could on 13. I hope more to come after the testers help debug.

Hello Tom

No BS (BandScope) as of yet
as for Transverters yes that appears to be working (I don't have a transverter that I can personally test all functions) but when doing do locally I can change them
Currently lies an issue with MB1 and transverter section which should be resolved be this is public release.

Have a good day

This may have been answered previously, but will Pure Signal be included in this version once release?

Yes but in a later version of v3. Once all of the primary functions that are in V2 are in V3 then Pure Signal, Full Duplex and more will be added!
Transceiver: MB1 Prime 2021

Pure signal and full duplex mode will be a good selling point for EE products especially for those buyers looking for a new radio to purchase.

Yes I agree.
Since currently there is only one sdr radio manufacture that offers Adaptive Pre-Distortion AKA pure signal and it looks like the other manufacture won’t ever have it as it doesn’t seem to support it also they are very busy with SD card replacements and repairs.

This stage of porting all of the features of v2 over to v3 and getting everything stable plus adding new remote capability is the hardest part, Once this stage is complete V3 will be in my opinion the finest SDR software available.
With the new coding method used to create EESDR V3 CPU utilization is fully optimized to make use of all CPU core’s. The same is also true for graphics processing the new code takes full advantage of powerful graphics cards making EESDR 3 run faster and smoother than ever before while using less computer resources. Another great thing about the new coding is it’s modular architecture witch will allow all kinds of features to added quickly such as new modes and decoders built in, Skins or window themes and so much more.
And finally the new code allows EESDR3 to run across all major platforms such as window, mac OS, Linux, Android an others seamlessly.

EE is the only company in the SDR space doing this amazing advanced software development!

What type of computer CPU, Video card would be recommended for best performance

There are some mini computers that looks interesting.

I am using a 12 year old I7 with an nvidia card and 16g memory

Min requirement listed on the EE site

Hower those were with the older V2 software

Things to look for in my opinion:

FAST CPU you can get (newer multicore / multithreading CPUS work very well) aka AMD Ryzen series and Thread rippers, Modern Intel's over last couple years
As Much ram as you can get
Would highly recommend using a SSD drive and if possible an M.2 series or higher
Look for a video card that will support DX12 (and not one that runs DX12 in some hobbled BS limped along DX 11 feature set coded crap)
a good network system that is stable (not Wi-Fi) if can be avoided, or use second NIC card and go directly to the rig.

There are a few computer builds listed , searching the forms should find them

I'm not a fan of Mini or SFF desktops, as many lead to crappy power wattage power supplies, not many options for upgrades limited options of good high end video cards (suffers from both power supply issues and form factors) then there's the ventilation cooling issues. Again my opinion!.

Thanks Rick, I have a Microcenter nearby that could help me with the suggested choices. When I built this computer I bought top of the line and it it is humming after 12 years. Worth the investment on high end.

Rick thanks for the video review of the program . I noticed on your video that the Mic meters indicator does not correctly show the RMS and PEAK values, try to set the microphone gain control to zero dB, apply Zero dB to the input from an external sound generator and go through the MIC meter scale measuring the supplied values, RMS values should be calculated using the PEAK * 0.707 formula, it will be correct RMS values

Yes nearby here as well, I also use them for my IT needs
I posted my build list a while back on the forum, if it helps-
all was at that time obtained from them
