I had mine last night, but now it's gone.
Will try to do a new clean installation and see if it works as I have some other "shady" things that were not there yesterday.
Running Win 11 Pro 64bit version 21H2 on an i9-9900K and an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (Sapphire NITRO+) card

If you're running EESDR3 on Microsoft Windows, here's just a short workaround for all those who want to see the S-Meter window right now but can't see it:

This little AutoIt script positions and sizes the window to the visible part of the screen:

;********************************************************************************
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <ListViewConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

ShowIt()
Func ShowIt()
; Retrieve a list of window handles.
Local $aList = WinList()
; Loop through the array, searching for windows titled "ExpertSDR3"
For $i = 1 To $aList[0][0]
If $aList[$i][0] <> "" And BitAND(WinGetState($aList[$i][1]), 2) Then
if $aList[$i][0] = "ExpertSDR3" Then
WinMove($aList[$i][1],"",100,100,400,250)
EndIf
EndIf
Next
EndFunc

;********************************************************************************

Before running that script, switch the S-Meter window on in EESDR3 (right-click on the S-meter; then tick "Show S-Meter")
As a side effect, you can also use this function to resize the S-Meter window, which doesn't seem to be possible from within EESDR3 for the time being.

You need to run this function only once. After that, everything works as expected and you can switch the window off and on again from within EESDR3.

Of yourse, you can use any other scripting tool or programming language that enables you to alter sizes and positions of windows in Microsoft Windows.

P.S.: Didn't open a Github issue. If somebody else likes to, you're welcome. I'm on holiday right now and got to do some sightseeing....

Nice I thought as i posted it was an issue were it maybe outside a windows position for some. thanks

BTW confirmation on another GitHub post made a while back regarding the meter I asked to be able to resize it

It appears you have fixed that, but also confirmation earlier in DEV group in upcoming DEV test release EE has also made it possible to resize it as well

Have a nice holiday and sightseeing.

thanks for the work around

Hi cicciomessere,

I used AutoIt (www.autoitscript.com/) just because I had it on my computer and I'm not into PowerShell that much.
But Rick's right. You can use any scripting tool so PowerShell should just do as well.

Yes, it can but on most installs unless you have reason to run scripts with PowerShell it may fail. I forgot about the default PowerShell ISE crap with windows,
as default it doesn't allow them if i recall correctly to run from within PowerShell, I need to look, I changed my default a long time ago as I was messing with scripts and have it set to allow them locally to run, again I think windows 10/11 default doesn't

Here try this you will need to save it, unzip it, then right click and select run as administrator- let me know I tested it here and it worked, I reset the meter size to 300X200 I think was a close default as to what it was-

That worked for me without the need to run it with administration rights.

Thank you very much Rik for your efforts and your precious role on that community.

You should only need to run this once, Although I am aware of a couple installs were the meter (s) after restarting are gone again, I'm not sure why that would happen unless for some reason your directory is read only, your UAC is set high or there is a corruption within the directory-
