I will operate it, almost 100%, on CW and so I will not need a microphone. Which headset will you advise me ? Heil or other? In case of Heil which model. Best 73 and have a nice weekend. Hi Dave,
I am still alive, now playing with SDR radios...

BTW the headset I recommended is a special closed, circumlunar, dynamic set for drummers with 35 dBA Noise isolation and Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 105dB which is rather exceptional. Frequency range: 5-30000 Hz, Nominal Impedance: 80 Ohm. Of course it has no boom mic but is well tailored to CW reception. Perfect for weak signal operation, you will never miss an expedition! Frank W3LPL uses these, he bought a lot of 10 of them AFAIK

The proper model I discovered at Thomman Music store for 139 € which is very fair price.

Hi Martin,
how are you doing?

Nice that you are playing with SDR radios, I have an ICOM-9700 and tomorrow I will have, at my hand, a brand-new SunSDR2D, lets see how good it will run.

About headsets your suggestion is very welcome here and the price seems quite good too, I will look in local market about it and then I will let you know.
