Can't connect to SunSDR2DX! 11 Jun 2022 17:03 #1

I have no idea what else I could try

1. ExpertSDR2: Options -> Discover -> Device found -> Use
2. "Start" in ExpertSDR2 -> "Can't connect to SunSDR2DX!"
3. Power off SunSDR2 DX
4. Power up SunSDR2 DX while pressing BT -> green light at "IND" blinking
5. ExpertSDR2: Options -> Discover -> Device found -> Use
6. ExpertSDR2: Options -> "SDR Firmware -> "Can't connect to SunSDRDX!"
7. Change PC IP to one in the subnet of current SunSDR2 DX IP
5. Direct ethernet connection between SunSDR2 DX and PC
6. ExpertSDR2: Options -> "SDR Firmware -> Firmware is updating -> Device restarts
7. ExpertSDR2: Start -> it works (still direct ethernet connection)
8. Stop in ExpertSDR2 and turn off SunSDR DX
9. Unplugged ethernet and replug cables to router of both PC and SunSDR2 DX
10. change PC IP4 settings to DHCP and connect to router
11. Power up SunSDR2 DX
12. ExpertSDR2: Options -> Discover -> Device found -> Use
13. "Start" in ExpertSDR2 -> "Can't connect to SunSDR2DX!"
14. SunSDR2 DX responds to ping
15. AnyDesk not installed
16. netstat -aon | findstr 0.0:50001 gives no result
17. Resetting SunSDR2 DX
18. Direct ethernet connection between SunSDR2 DX and PC
19. change PC IP4 settings to DHCP and connect to router
20. ExpertSDR2: Options -> Discover -> Device found -> Use
21. ExpertSDR2: Start -> it works (still direct ethernet connection)
22. Stop in ExpertSDR2 and turn off SunSDR DX
23. Unplugged ethernet and replug cable to router of both PC and SunSDR2 DX
24. change PC IP4 settings to DHCP and connect to router
25. Power up SunSDR2 DX
26. ExpertSDR2: Options -> Discover -> Device found -> Use
27. "Start" in ExpertSDR2 -> "Can't connect to SunSDR2DX!"
28. Switched PC -> same results

Just want to clarify
1) cannot connect or use if on your router? nor can you ping the radio address or discover the radio ?
2) if using local PC to radio via ethernet port then you can connect and use?

If # 2 is correct from what you have listed then you have an configuration error on your Router with

either IP address scheme (are you using DHCP on your router or is it statically assigned IP addresses to devices) ?
Possible Port blocking on your router or firewall
