There was a Microsoft update that I did the other day. And now for some unknown reason my monitors are all messed up.
# 2 is the monitor right in front of me.
#1 is the display on the MB1
#3 is the monitor to the right of the MB1.
For some reason something has dramatically changed.
Under Multiple Displays I have Duplicate Desktop 1 and 3.
And now when I look at the monitors at the top, it has #2 and !13.
And make this my main display under multiple monitors is checked.
I always have EESDR2 on monitors 1 and 3. Logger and any other program on #2.
I was operating the Stew Perry and for some unknown reason in the middle of a contact EESDR2 went from Monitor 3 to monitor 2. And this caused major problems with N1MM.
Does anyone know where I can find help in setting up my monitors? Either in the manual or Addendum?
It not something that one remembers. I should probably check to see if there was a video that was made that showed how to use multiple monitors with the MB1.
Any help?
Thanks!

This is really weird. I am on 160 meters. And I am running my amplifier. If I transmit using the amplifier, for some reason the EESDR screen on #3 monitor goes blank if I use 1100 to 1200 watts, yet will remain on monitor 1 which is the MB1.If I transmit with less than 1000 watts, no problems whatsoever. This is the first time I have experienced such a thing It does not happen on any other band except 160. Could this possibly be an RF problem? I don't really have RF problems, but then again, I really don't transmit that much on 160 either.
Any thoughts on this?

I had had a similar problem, Mark. My issue was RF and it was a pain. Two different things occured: one of my monitors was getting RF and in addition the display driver would crash. The latter issue caused a mess up in Windows display settings.

It is solved now: instead of individually grounding each item of equipment, I implemented a common grounding bus. For the monitor that went blank, common mode chokes were required.

I think you probably do know how to set up multiple monitors, just that as it's usually a 'set-and-forget' thing the methodolgy is no so easy to recall. Microsoft have a display start page at support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/set-up-dual-monitors-on-windows-10-3d5c15dc-cc63-d850-aeb6-b41778147554

Erik,
This whole thing with my monitors is really a bother at that.
#2 is basically my main monitor.
#1 is the MB1 Screen
#3 is the monitor that I use to have eesdr2 on.
In the Windows setup I have the MB1 screen going onto the #3 monitor.
Yet when I booted up the MB1 the windows 10 screen came up on the MB1 screen and then was also on the #3 monitor. The windows 10 screen always came up on my #2 screen.
I have the Duplicate Desktop on 1 and 3.
Maybe I just have to tinker around with this. It wasn't giving me any problems after I did the upgrade. Why it is starting now is beyond me.
Also N1MM comes up on the #2 monitor, but LogHX3 starts to come up on #3 instead of 2. And than I have to go and move the stuff from 3 to 2.
Am I frustrated with this? Yes, without a doubt. Was type of setup do you have with your monitor or monitors? What windows 10 settings for the monitors are you using?
Thanks!

This behaviour is typical of the display driver having crashed at some point. I would uninstall the display driver, let it return to the native Microsoft driver. Then update to the latest HD530 driver downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29913/Intel-Graphics-BETA-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=88345

You should then be able to launch each application, move and size it, close it and it will relaunch in the same position. Do this one by one for all.

My setup currently is for 2 external monitors and the MB1 internal display, all in extended desktop configuration, with one of the externals as the main.
