Greetings,
I changed out my MB1 Battery as it was getting to be 5 years old. I was ale to manage the BIOs reset, or so I thought, and the computer boots up fine.
A few incidents:
* When the computer starts to boot, I get the brief Motherboard screen, then it goes right to Windows. I replaced my SSD with an EVO and it is very fast. I also installed a fresh WIN 10.
* My MB1 appears to work OK -- but my VFO dial is very choppy and does not tune smoothly. E-Coder is the same choppiness.
* At times when I XMIT, the radio gets stuck in TRANSMIT. I need to turn the Software off and on a few times to clear it.
* I tried reinstalling update 7. No luck. Ran antivirus too.

Any thoughts appreciated,
Greg

I do not know the answer but I would just check that the optimum BIOS settings are still set just in case your reset has had a detrimental effect on the computer performance.

The key ones are in CPU configuration: Virtualization disabled; Speedstep enabled; Turbo enabled.

Are there any yellow triangles in device manager-Are all the system devices drivers loaded or some missing-missing perhaps ?
Please do not email me and ask for help I no longer will be part of this, If I could delete /remove my profile I would do so.
