Hello,

my MB1 has a calibrate issue and needs calibration on touch panel. Some touch regions are not registered when I touch them. Mostly top left part of the screen. Please help with calibration/test tool. Thank you!

Regards,
Chris

Before trying any test tool, about which you will probably have to liaise with Roman, try the Windows 10 in-built calibration tool.

The instructions are explained at www.windowscentral.com/how-calibrate-touch-enabled-display-windows-10

Hi,
tried windows 10 calibration tool. Not working, could not touch the cross in corners - top left.
What is strange is the detection. Please see the external HDMI monitor how is detected: with touch screen that is not the case.
attached screen-captures from calibration tool.

Thanks!
Chris

Chris!
I have the same problem, and in my case its a crack in the touchpanel ca 3 cm from leftcorner and it streches some cm down. I saw it with a magnificationglass. There are no sign of damage on the lcd glas. There has been no hard pressures or any thing so i have no clue how this has occured.
This makes it impossible to calibrate the screen.
Switch of the radio and take a magnification glas and inspect the screen

OK, so before asking Roman there are some checks to make.

Ensure the screen is completely clean. Use a cleaning wipe for spectacles; these have a tiny amount of alcohol which is essential for eliminating unseen smears.

Check that you are using the correct resolution for the panel screen. This can set in BIOS (which I presume will be correct) and also in Windows settings>Display and should be 1200 x 800

In Device Manager, under Human Interface Devices:
Right-click HID-compliant touch screen, and then select Disable.
Right-click HID-compliant touch screen, and then select Enable.

Additionally the calibration tool might have a reset facility and so, if it does, do reset it.

Try the calibration again. Failure means having the screen hardware tested.

Hi Lars,

no cracks on my display. but still only partial touch response. hmmm. did you fixed yours? as my screen is intact I'm in doubt to do any changes. probably a faulty unit and a bad previous user with bad eyes who used only a mouse :)))
