Look in EriK Carling EI4KF’s user manual addendum. Here you will find all necessary info about upgrading.

mdh11hi motherboard download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/embedded_mb_qsg_mdh11hi_e_10.pdf?v=a4c6c702dec7b181515ca6e5985e0afc I will post pictures later today
i jumped the cables that were hooked up to #16 and #31 from the mb1 to the decktop computer with usb header extender cables , i installed the sdr3 software on the desktop.then configured the new network from the usb to ethernet adaptor to the correct settings found in the online manual , the mb1 is powered but just shows a windows screen , the desktop monitor displays the sdr3 program
, i have found that all the buttons on the mb1 still function , my next experiment is to buy some usb header to usb cables and see if i can run this setup on a mac .... will post results

I have been running the mb1 by jumping the header cables to my desktop.... so far so good , no need to update the mainboard in the mb1 ,most of us use the mouse keys and external monitor.

Hello,
It's impossible to just replace a motherboard, there are several complications, you'll need:
1. A new adapter for USB connectors (adapters from a motherboard to USB connectors, they are different in different batches),
2. A new adapter for LVDS display (different in different batches),
3. A new adapter for the wiring cable (different in different batches),
4. A new rear panel with new motherboard connectors outlay.

Of course, you can experiment with other motherboards as much as you want, this is your MB1, just mind that we do not recommend doing that.

Hi, I won't change it then.

If necessary, I will deal with this, currently the i7-7700T CPU and 16GB RAM and 1TB NVME SSD work well, sometimes GPU performance would be needed, but then the current system remains.

Thanks for the advice.
