Yes, I use the unit with two outputs from Leo Bodnar. Works great.

The setup is very straightforward. You have to connect it to your PC and set up parameters first, after this it will run by itself. There is a very easy user manual on their webpage. Just remember to set External reference in ESDR2/ESDR3 and you are good to go!

The products and service from Leo Bodnar is top notch.

It says in the manual that the 10Mhz ref input on the MB1 is 500 ohms? It that correct or is it a typo?
Normally it's typically 50 ohms.

Why do you need reference? the radio are so stabile so i dont see the use of a external reference.
That needs to be explained

For me I just like to be bang on frequency when operating meteor scatter on 6 and 2m.

Ok well thats really overkill :-) Been doing EME/ MS on all bands never used reference, even back in the early 70ths with Yaesu Ft221R Only time a reference are needed are if your transverters are unstable ,meaning feeding the LO in tranvsretrs with stable signal..The MB1 are so stable.
just my thoughts .-)
i have a dual port leobodnar but its only for feeding my LNB for Q100 sat

What is the minimum and maximum power level you can inject into the 10Mhz ref input of the MB1.
The Leo Bodnar GPS has 4 output level options. It seems to work fine at 32mA but I don't want to use more drive than necessary.

Here is the GPS output specs:

3.3V cmos @ 50 ohm.

+13.3dBm, 32mA
+12.7dBm, 24mA
+11.4dBm, 16mA
+7.7dBm, 8mA

John,

I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure I am using the highest power from the GPSDO.
