What options for adding a fan at the pro version ? What you do for this for cooling ,do you put a fan and always have a steady speed or with any control you manage to increase the speed as temperature rise up ?

Hi.
I use surplus 12v dc blower , 13cm diameter .. supply it fra a 5V USB powersupply . on top like the sdr2DX .
no noise, low rpm .. running all time , and temp never gets above 35 Dg Celcius. :-)
In RX below 30 Dg.

I just run a small PC fan powered by a power pack from an old router. Works well and keeps the radio cool.

F4JFG What dimensions is this fan ? Should have 2 wires or 3 .If I need to put any external speed control ,i look for noctua

Yes I was bought a cable adapter for the 705 at the past ,I order the ptt cable from Ukraine ,when I received it I open it and put also for the fan
