What specifically are you having problems with in terms of TCI? Are you able to get EESDR3 talking to the radio yet? Or are you trying to get some other software talking to EESDR3?
Just for starters, EESDR3 defaults to a different TCI port - 50001 - compared to the port 40001 that is used for EESDR2. You can change the port in EESDR3 to match what is used in EESDR2. Just do the following:-
1. click on the TCI icon on the bottom right to disable it
2. right click on the same icon to bring up the setting and set it to 40001
3. click on the TCI icon again to re-enable it
At this point, it should behave the same as EESDR2.
