Looking for some assistance. I have a VCP that links my radio to the logging software using a VSPE splitter. I want to pass the serial data passively to my KAT500 so it band changes automatically. I know it works with its built in freq counter but I prefer to have it change first. Is there a way to join the existing VCP to the hardware port?

Thanks

You can try to use a Splitter and redirector in VSPE software, See attachment.
A usual is needed a pair(COM10-COM11) between splitter and ExpertSDR2 software, because without it splitter working not correct, but sometimes it working without additional pair and you can connect ExpertSDR2 to COM 11 directly, you have to check it.
We are not used a redirector before, because we have not a task as your, but I think it will work.

Thanks. I will try that this evening. For now I have been able to use one of the splitter ports to DXLabs Commander and used that to connect to the tuner.
