I don't own an MB-1 yet, but noticed that one appeared today on QTH.com used. The question is: does the warranty apply to only the first buyer, or can the warranty be transferred to a second owner?

MB1 has a 12 months warranty period from the moment it is bought by the first user. The warranty applies to the second user too, but make sure how long the first user owns the MB1 before you buy it.

If it this one: swap.qth.com/search-results.php?keywords=mb1&fieldtosearch=TitleOrDesc then it has a warranty to March 2018 and the advertiser should be able to affirm that it was recently checked by NSI. I personally know that it has hardly been used and is in excellent condition. An application for further details would be well worth making if you are interested in the MB1 (superb radio by the way!!)

My SUN SDR2 Pro developed a failure some time ago.
2m Antenna relais does not work anymore.
I informed seller (Lynch & son in the UK) and EE by direct E-Mail but NO REPLY at all.

I had other issues with the mechanical relays in the SUN SDR -
In my SUN the relais seem to work very unreliable below 14V - so a standard 13,6V supply is not optimum.
I am not sure if the problem is caused by poor quality the relais or high saturation voltage of the the driver.

In absence of of reply I will have to do a fault search on my own and see how to recover from the fault, else the unit is unusable on 2m!
