Good morning EE / Roman / all

What is the future for ExpertSDR2 ? Will development continue as previously published and include the transverter / ALC / functionality, and other updates ?

Or will ExpertSDR2 development now stop and we must await ExpertSDR3 ?

Thank you 73

Jason

my fear is that Roman bought himself some time with the youtube movie and that we will not see anything of the promised functions before ExpertSDR3 is published.

Is that such a bad thing? There cannot be much sense to expending time and money on a soon terminated version. Better to direct resources solely to ESDR3.

ESDR2 had a timeline that was always somewhat elastic, stretching out to some unknown point. Whereas we know that ESDR3 starts with long awaited functions. That may not be until Q1 2021 but then I did not see ESDR2 development being any faster than that anyway.

There is much potential in ESDR3 and I personally hope Roman will answer Jason similarly to the above.

ESDR2 and firmware for various devices will get bug fixes in the coming 2-3 weeks and I think that would be all.
Erik is exactly right, there is no point in the further development of ESDR2.
