I have the RF Kit RF2K+ and use TCI for control and tracking.
With the Amp in operation I started SDCx64 and I got the following errors regarding Client in use.

"Unable to start the server. The bound address is already in use."
"No SDC Control No Open Comm Port."

The RF Kit Local Host is using TCI on port 40001.
The SDC Local Host default is also 40001.
Can the Local Host default be changed to say 50001 or 30001, or some other number.
I don't know what the range for these ports are?

Not sure about RF kit, SDC etc

But there should only be one server on i.e port 40001 or 50001 or whatever and this should be the EESDR software.
All others are clients and there are no limits on how many clients that can connect to the server.

So i guess SDC has the ability to run as a server probably to support hardware/software that are not from Expert Electronics?
