 I have been in contact with a number of hams relative to the MB1 as to performance and whether to purchase the unit. I have offered my experiences with a vertical antenna and a relatively high noise area. The MB1 has performed well and I believe I have convinced these individuals to purchase this transceiver. I offered some comparisons against the FTDX500MP Limited to show that the MB1 is well worth the price. I am still amazed as to what am able to do with this radio since listening is also a big part of what I like. Had some great CW QSO's as well. Always happy to share experience with perspective buyers.

i would be thankfull to hear your experiences with the mb1. specially your experiences on VHF and weak signal filtering right next to very strong stations in ssb.
it also would be great to see your comparsion from mb1 vs. ftdx5000 due im also evaluating a new trx.

i try to send you a email with my contact data.

Greetings,
I too am strongly considering buying the MB1 and own (among many other radios) an FTDX5000. Wondering if you could share some of your experiences comparing those 2 fine transceivers (?)
Whatever it's worth-I operate mostly ssb and also own the Anan200d and Flex5000 among many 'legacy' radios like the FT5K and Icom 7850.
Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.
