Hi, Joe.

First of all, what separates MB1 from other analogs is that it has a fully-functioning Windows 10 PC inside. It allows you to install on the MB1 any application supported by the Windows 10 OS, thus you'll have all your loggers, VACs and other HAM software inside your transceiver.

MB1 is a true SDR transceiver, it's controlled by the ExeprtSDR2 software which is constantly growing in terms of functionality in comparison to the mentioned analogs. You won't find a better spectrum or waterfall than the one in the ExpertSDR2, that's what I've been told multiple times by our community.
ExeprtSDR2 has TCI (transceiver control interface) which significantly simplifies connection to the 3rd party software, like loggers or other HAM software.
If you are a fan of a voice operation you'll definitely love the voice processing module in the ExpertSDR2, it allows you to adjust your voice on the air you've never could before. Set of different filters, parametric equalizer, phase rotator, and all other features are welcomed by any SSB enthusiast.

MB1 supports remote operation, you can control it via the ExpertRemote system from the other PC or WEB-client (from the web-browser installed on your phone or tablet). WEB-client doesn't support TX mode at the moment.

MB1 can operate on the VHF (2M) band out-of-the-box, without transverters, not one of its competitors can do that.

And you don't have to pay $200 for every major software upgrade as you do with Flex. The ESDR2 software is free.

Joe,
By just looking at your operating habits, you are primarily a SSB or Phone operator.
The one advantage over the other radio's is that it is Software controlled and the radio and PC are one unit.
Very reasonable size if I say so myself.

I do more CW and digital operating than anything else.
I am a contest operator, and very few radio's have adequate SSB filtering for the weak station in between two strong stations on each side of him.
The MB1 does have good filters which I'm sure were the same as the Flex.

If you don't mind me for asking, why did you sell your 6400M?
It seems that you are used to operating an SDR so I understand why you are looking at the choices that you indicated.
One bit of advice I would give you. Go on Youtube, and watch the different video's on each radio.
That should give you at least a good look at what people are saying about each radio.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Can Radio be Mars Mod on HF bands

One other question does it run on 13.8 Volts or have built in PS
As I cannot use on boat all time if it runs on 110-120 Volts only at Dock

I like see video of MB1 SSB receiving stations
