Hello,

you may be interested in a simple, effective and affordable vpn solution.
I installed an OpenVPN server on my Raspberry PI3 and implemented a bridge configuration.
I have written a page with my notes in Italian, but easily understood using Google Translator.
I have been using it for many months now and with it I have access to my SunSDR and all other home devices, from anywhere on the Internet and from any operating system (even Android and IOs).

Ciao
Thank you so much for putting together the tutorial. I have managed to get the VPN working but as soon as I add the the openvpn-bridge it does not route packets. What version of Rasbian are you using and can you send me your server.conf file please ? I work in IT so don't think this is user error so probably just missing a step.

Thanks

Thank to Nicholas attempts, it can be stated that, at the moment, OpenVpn server works properly with Jessie and Stretch distros only, while it has problems whit the latest Buster.
Links for both versions are listed below.
Take care to disable automatic updates.

Many 3rd party routers (ASUS, NetGear, etc) all now support OpenVPN server on them too.
Current set up: SunSDR2 DX, HiFi audio, Alpha Delta DX-CC up 20 feet.

Hi all,
I'm also interested in open VPN.
If possible can you share what solution you currently using?
-Is it a dedicated router, if so what model?
-Other like Rasberry PI
