TOPIC: No variable bandwidth in Gen mode

No variable bandwidth in Gen mode 23 May 2022 06:44 #1

Everything running OK except when in Gen mode, there is no control over the receive bandwidth. Stereo broadcasts on VHF (80 to 108Mhz) band are distorted because the receive bandwidth in too narrow and cannot be controlled by either the User tab or the various nominated bandwidth tabs.
No sign of signal overload or signal too weak when testing and all on the VHF port.
Have updated the firmware and on Windows 10 (64bit) using ExpertSDR 64 vers 1.3.1 Update 11 software.
Any clues or similar experience / suggestions please?

Hi, Ian.
Set a max sample rate first, and then you can change the filter BW.

Thank you.
I experimented with the various sample rates and found that the setting at 390 would not allow decoding however the 312 sample rate gives clear signal and good decode.

Thank you again.
