Hi folks, I'm writing this topik as I haven't found a solution. I state that I installed EESDR V3 on macbook pro 14 with Apple Silicon M1e chip OS Ventura 13.2.1. I have noticed that in reception there are numerous signal peaks at variable cadence which make the system unusable. I also use a windows computer on which everything works great. Has this happened to anyone before? Are there any software compatibility issues?
I would be grateful if you received any suggestions.

No issues on my macs. Runs with no problem on both - intel and silicon - with either 12 and 13.

This is what happens to me even though the headphones are plugged in and I have inserted the string as specified, on the terminal, for using the microphone.

Hi Pavel, I can't work with mac os, I've done several installations, followed the instructions step by step, but I still have the same fault. In github I also inserted a small video. In case you have any suggestions, I would be very grateful.

How exactly your Mac network setup configured - WiFi or LAN cable (via adapter)?

hi, thanks for the reply.
I connected the sunsdr2DX to my Macbook pro m1 with 16gb ram and oc ventura both via wifi, the sunsdr connected via lan cable to the wifi router and also directly via lan with an adapter and the result is the same.

Sorry, this is hard to believe,
The problems you are describing are typically occur when using wifi, With direct lan cable connection (between mac and transceiver) - should not be any of described problems.

Try to test as following:
1. Restart mac
2. Shut wifi interface on mac
3. Connect Mac and DX via direct LAN cable and appropriate IP addressing
In the above configuration everything should work normally and this will be your starting point to troublshoot,

1. Make sure that you have the latest software ESDR3 1.0.3 and firmware in the TRX - 86.8.
2. Try to completely delete ESDR3, including the settings folder C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\Expert Electronics\ExpertSDR3
And then install a new.

bye Pavel bye Rome.
My eesdr is the latest version and also the firmware, I tried to deactivate the wifi and the defect on the RX is gone, it reappears if I activate the wifi.
I also solved the headphones problem, due to my distraction.
It remains impossible at the moment to operate via wifi. I'll check my network better.
What could be the cause of the wifi defect?

Congested WiFi network and/or lack of UDP traffic priority in certain home AP models.

HI,
I tried both with 5g and 2.4 networks, even with the only device connected, max bandwidth, all priorities. The defect reappeared, unchanged. At the moment it is possible to work only with the sunsdr physically connected to the computer via LAN.

Just curious if yo have ever tried to ROLL BACK or use different version of the drivers on your system, perhaps an earlier version of the device driver for your netwrok card/wifi

Hello CASDR, I have not tried it as it is the first time I use Mac Ventura OS, on a new Macbook 14 pro M1, therefore without having ever installed previous drivers. You who O.S. do you use and if you use wifi?

I do NOT use any MAC products , our/my company doesnt support them either

However being in the I/T field for alost 30 years I have seen issues with drivers where using a preious version or 2 or version after what you have - has resloved networking issues-

So it was a suppgestion to look for the device manutacure of said network card/ and see if you can download and install a prevouis version driver for that device and go it a try.

Place to update my story.
After a year that I no longer log in with EESDR2, I logged in through the windows computer but I didn't change any parameters. then I went back to EESDR3, still on the windows computer to check that everything was fine. In the evening when I logged in via macbook, using wifi, to my surprise everything worked fine. Today also adjusted the mic and made the first qso in ssb with macbook. Now, I can't explain why the signal peaks disappeared, but I've currently been using sunsdr over wifi for two days without noticing the problems I had. Thank you for taking an interest in the problem which I believe is current as other users have encountered what I had noticed with the use of mac computers and I hope that Expert Electronics pays due attention to it. I leave the post for any updates.
