Hi,
Please, check you video card... For EESDR3 you need Video card with DirectX11 or higher support..

Hi, Fran.
1. This CPU i5-2400 supports only DirectX 10.1.
2. The model of your notebook is about 10 years old, I'm not sure it can handle any modern application.

Hello Fran.
With regards to running SDR3, I have the same result here with the same blank windows SDR3 screen on my PC desktop, when trying to run SDR3 program.
And I have Windows 10 Pro 64bit and my PC has i7 & 2600 processor and DirectX 12 installed.
Of course upgrading your PC is always a good idea and I hope it works for you, but here I am still waiting for a good solution for me.
Cheers, from Ron.

On the start screen you can choose to run eesdr3 with DirectX, vulkan or OpenGL. Maybe it can help.

I'm also having some problems running EESDR3 on one of my Windows 10 64-bit systems. EESDR3 just won't launch but shows up in the icon grouping on the bottom right of the taskbar. When I move my mouse over that icon, it just disappears. I will need to investigate this a bit more and will try to report back here on my findings. This is a Dell XPS13 laptop with 16GB of RAM.

This is the 3 November version. The same version installed on the Dell XPS15 and other PC's with Windows 11 64-bit works. I will look to see if there is some library needed by QT6 or NET framework thing that is missing.

Try to delete the Qt6WebView.dll file from the ESDR3 folder.
It's a Qt bug, our programmer already reported it to Qt developers.

Hi Ron, good morning, the installed version of directx on the pc is one thing, but the important thing is that your graphics card or processor graphics are compatible, my pc is still at least 10 years old, install a graphics card in the pci and sdr3 module it worked, use this program to check before and after compatibility. www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-gpu-z/
Regards
Fran

That's what I was getting at when I asked what Graphics card and what model and firmware it was.

The Market has been flooded with non legit cards, cards claiming one thing but are not really made by the manufacture there claiming and have bogus firmware and drivers.

and

buyer beware do some research and buy from know good true retailers and sources (That's if you can find a decent card now without having a 2nd mortgage or selling your soul)

Thanks for the suggestion Roman. I deleted Qt6WebView.dll (but let Qt6WebViewQuick.dll) and restarted the laptop. Unfortunately the behaviour still persists:-

1. Double click EESDR3 icon
2. nothing shows up on screen but EESDR3 icon appears in the bottom right pop-up icon tray
3. moving mouse over the icon in the tray causes it to disappear
4. I have tried completely uninstalling and re-installing multiple times
5. It seemed that I had this working before but something changed that I am not aware of
