I'm wondering if anyone can direct me to the correct version of Remote Server for RPi. I currently have the 2016 release working but was wondering what the difference is with the April 2018 version and if I should upgrade or burn a new sd card with that version or just stay on 2016. I'm running the SunSDR2 Pro.
April 2018 releases:

» ExpertRS 0.4.0 (for Linux) - Expert Remote Server, works only with ExpertRC 1.2.0
» ExpertRS 0.4.0 (for RPi3) - Expert Remote Server, works only with ExpertRC 1.2.0
» ExpertRC 1.2.0 - Expert Remote Client
» ExpertRC x64 1.2.0 - Expert Remote Client
» ExpertRC 1.2.0 for Linux - Expert Remote Client
» ExpertRC 1.2.0 for macOS - Expert Remote Client

2016 releases:

» ExpertRS (for RPi3) - Expert Remote Server
» New ExpertRS (for RPi3) - Expert Remote Server for ColibriNANO and ColibriDDC receivers
» ExpertRS (for Windows PC) - Expert Remote Server
» ExpertRC - Expert Remote Client

Thanks and 73, Scott N1SER

Hi, Scott.
The difference between April's 2018 and 2016 releases is minimal if you use it for SunSDR2 PRO.
We've added a lot of new features and improvements in the recent 1.3 version, but there is no ExpertRS for RPi yet.

Hi Rome,

can you name an approximate date when the RPi version will be available? Will that be in January, February, or later?

Thank you very much for information.

Hi, Gerold.
Sorry, no, we'll evaluate approximate terms only in February.

OK - That is good news

I will be doing a big demo of the Expert E remote capabilities at two big hamfest(s) here in Sweden and Norway where the RPI-support for the RS is important. .

Ill stay tuned (but not hold my breath ;-)

Hello, I have the Colibri running with the remote of the Raspberry pi 3, I access without any problem remotely.
The problem that has arisen to me is that when trying to enter the configuration of the RPI 3 through 192.168.9.44/admin I asked for the user name and the password, I always entered it by putting root for both, but now I do not gives access to the configuration and tells me that they are not correct: Has happened to any of you ?. Is there a solution that allows me to enter the configuration?
Thank you

Any news on Rpi support for RS ??
I guess the new RPI version 4 will be a killer and schould cope with the performance need for remote.
