Promises and hope for the Colibri owners?

To me it looks as if the gap between hardware and software broadens.
Especially the ESDR2 for ColibriDDC stays behind (or looks dead).
Many wishes, which can be found here in the forum, seem to end in the garbage collection.

Look at the still promoted BPF-kit which promisses BPF coverage for the whole AM range to 30 MHz.
"eesdr.com/en/products-en/receivers-en/colibriddc-en#bpf-kit"
But this isn`t true !
Could you believe that for about 80 % of the 0 - 30 Mhz range the BPF ist completely disabled ??
Only the HAM bands allow a connected BPF and the rest is automatically shut down.
Without any reason; there is already a checkbox in the setup page, who allows this optionally.
To my understanding removing the shutdown in C# source code would be easyly done in minutes.
Roman answered to my mail:"You are correct, we'll fix that in the next SW for the ColibriDDC in a couple of weeks." (29.3.2017)

Or look at
- ExperSDR2 remote (Ver 1.1.3RC12) = useless, while missing many of the tools, we find in the regular version
- ExperSDR2 Player (Ver 0.8.2) = useless, without time code, etc.

A proposal : adding some of the newer options to the "ExtIO_ColibriDDC.dll" would help as well.
HDSDR has already some of the old "wishes" fullfilled.

In general, the EE hardware could do a better job - if enabled.

Best regards
Frank
