I am wondering if I can use the SDC software to keep in sync my Tentec Eagle with the Colibri Nano Receiver.
I can't understand if the ColibriNano ExpertSDR2 software can support the sync feature.

Hi, Enzo.
I discussed this with Yuri Pavlov, UT4LW, developer of the SDC and here is his reply:
"It should work via RigSync, but the issue is that no one has tested it. Tentec has its own CAT protocol. If there will be any issues I'll fix them."

I had to study a bit the RigSync manual before doing other tests.
Now I have successfully implemented the schema you can see in the first picture and I can sync logger and other omnirig software using the ComSpider settings you can see in the second picture.
Now I have a problem in keeping in sync the Tentec and ExpertSDR2. I would ExpertSDR2 be my first receiver and Tentec Eagle only the slave transmitter. In the RigsSync tab, in SDC, I am using the serial port for the Eagle and the TCI protocol for ExpertSDR2. This is the best match between the to radios because all other methods are very slow.
The problem is that some sync data work better in one way and not in the other. To be clearer:
FROM TENTEC TO EXPERTSDR2:
- Frequency A/B are OK;
- Mode is OK only for CW. If I set LSB/USB on the Eagle I get DIGL on ExpertSDR2.

FROM EXPERTSDR2 TO TENTEC
- FREQUENCY A/B not OK; if I click on other frequencies in the panadadapter, ESDR goes back to the Eagle Frequency
- MODES are OK

Please, give also a look at my whole configuration to be sure I am going in the right way.

Hello Enzo, it seems to be correct. I think you should email Yuri UT4LW directly for SDC support. His email address is in the User Addendum Manual. You can ask him in English but include much detail including your pictures.

Some of the features of SDC are explained therein. SDC has its own Help File - I think you have seen it already.

SDC does not have its own web site - Yuri uses a Russian language Forum at www.cqham.ru/forum/showthread.php?34313-Software-Defined-Connectors/page47&highlight=sdc - Google Translator does a reasonable job of converting to English (and probably Italian).

SKM is an integral part of SDC and is explained in great detail in the User Addendum Manual.
