I have loaded Mac OSX 10.12.6 onto my Mac mini and the NANO software installs and runs and shows that the NANO is connected but the NANO will not start. When I click the on/off button it blinks red but does not start.

Is it necessary to load an additional library? This is the system that the web site says it was tested on.

It does run on the same computer when booted into Mac OS 10.13.x but it does not run well.

I need help getting the 10.12.6 installation running.

MAC OSX Sierra problem 02 Nov 2018 23:04 #2

if it will not start then it is probably down to the drivers have not been installed correctly, i had same issue on mine and mine will start but keep crashing on my mac mini, not sure why it is doing this, Roman and the team are looking into this. To get it to start make sure you follow steps 4.2 and 3.3 on the driver set up. Your need to make sure you have the D2XX installed correctly and make sure that your mac does not steal your FTDI driver by also really doing the steps above on 4.2 and 3.3 which your see under mac installation on their website under what device it is your using, I am using ColibriNano but like i said i can get it to run but it will crash sometimes immediately and sometimes after a few minutes, it will jump up and down all over the place too, in windows it runs superb but I do have a very powerful machine for windows, I want it to run on my mac mini tho as I use macloggerdx. here is a video i done that I sent to Roman on how my own ESDR2 runs on my own mac mini and I have tried it on 2 mac mini's with the same results so far. They are looking into this issue as I send this to you.

Video below so you can see what i mean and how mine is running on my own mac mini's
