Trouble with Colibrinano and the software working on my mac mini 27 Sep 2018 02:46 #1

Shame but this is what i am getting, all files have been loaded, D2XX drivers all done in terminal etc, tried everything now even tried a new powered hub as Roman suggested to me in email, anyone else know what this could be, see my video below.. I would like to one day do what vasily done and use it all working with Macloggerdx but so far after 3 months nearly of trying to get it to run its been like mission impossible. On my windows machine it runs superb but when it comes to mac it sucks big time, it is like it was meant for windows and not mac but I will see what happens and see if a new mac might help. I am using El Capitan due to my monitor is 4ft long ultra wide and high sierra will not go to this resolution due to apple being apple. God how i hatye mac and wish macloggerDX was on windows but hey i will keep trying to solve this issue.

video below on how bad it runs on my mac but have no idea what causes this at all.

When I've run into problems (with MB1 & before that with my SUNSDR2Pro) I have asked for a Skype & Team Viewer session with Vasily.
He's always solved my issues, worth a try I think

Trouble with Colibrinano and the software working on my mac mini 27 Sep 2018 11:22 #3

Hi Ray, well I know it has to work with esdr2 and macloggerdx as Vasily done it, but when i emailed Vasily he said it was his programmer that set it all up for him, the problem is on mac, I can install it, get it to recognise the nano, i can even turn it on but the problem is it just crashes and as u can see from my video it sort of dances all over the place and is not stable at all. on my windows machine it runs perfectly as your see below, the problem is ive tried all sorts of things like windows parallels, vmware and virtualware on my windows machine which is a super fast machine, im talking a 8700k here water cooled and has a 2TB evo ssd m2 drive etc so im not surprised it runs so well on my windows 10, the problem as i said is i need it to run on mac, I use macloggerdx as its my fav of all time, i just wish Don would make a windows version of it but he wont have any of it, ive asked him again and again but he wont do it.. shame as i love using it and it is stunning.. i will try sending Vasily or roman another email, perhaps their programmer can jump on zoom with me on a screen share, team viewer and skype is abit dated now, zoom is the best for that for sure. I hope one day i can finally sort it out or i will have no choice but to try something else and i do not want to do that really as i think the expertsdr2 software is real nice and beig Vasilly had it working on Sierra it should in theory work on El Capitan, I tried updating my mac mini to a new one but it would not go to my resolution of 3840x1080 for my ultra wide monitor which is 4ft long. Yea i know, insane but nice to have for my shack as it is like 3 monitors all in one. I just hope one day i can finally sort this out with their help. I have done everything right in installing it all, it just runs so bad on mac, I think they need to work on this as its not just happening to me apparently loads even with latest osx are getting issues too. Thanks for the reply and i will definately try getting on with them on zoom if i can at some point...

Look how it runs on my windows pc, its amazing, if only it ran like this on mac... Grrrr
