Ensure there are exceptions in your Firewall and AntiVirus to allow the exe file to run (in other words it is not blocked by either Firewall or AntiVirus).

Also try running with elevated privilages by right-clicking the exe file and selecting Run As Administrator.

In the event of continued failure, make a reinstall using the setup file and even download the setup again in order to eliminate possible corruption of the original file.

Oreste,

Do you use Teamviewer or similar software? This conflict with the ExpertSDR software. Also disable the firewall and AV software. Had the same problem, now working perfect!

I suggest you disable the UAC in the control panel. Then uninstall EESDR again than reinstall it running the setup "As Administrator".
Disabling any Antivirus/Firewall, like already suggested, is a good idea, at least in the beginning until everything start working as expected.
Last, be sure you have properly installed Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package.

Hello,
I have similar issue with ESDR3 0.9.1 when it tries to start - only white screen and nothing happens then. I did software installation as administrator and run it as normal user.
I have tried run it as administrator and firewall turned off, but it doesn't help. If I close the window, the process is still active on process list, I need to kill it to get rid of it. Machine is Intel Core This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. 16Gb, Windows 10 Pro with latest updates, graphics card Intel HD Graphics 2000 using DirectX 11. I'm using SunSDR2 Pro.
ESDR2 1.3.1 update 11 works without issues on the same machine.

I tested ESDR3 0.8.1 on a much older similar machine in the past and there was no similar issue.

Any hint what could an issue here?

Now I tested the new release of ESDR3 0.11.0 alpha released recently on my windows 10 machine. Still the same issue with white blank window.
I'm using computer over Anydesk. ESDR2 works fine. Anyone resolved this?

HD Graphics 2000

DOES NOT FULLY SUPPORT DX11

Please check your Video card real specs, that card only truly natively supports DX10

this is why you cannot RUN program

the card is NOT FULLY COMPATIABLE WITH DX11 it cannot work correctly

Anyone getting this error or White screen Please CHECK THE RAEAL SPECS of your Video Card!

use this and enter your card model it will tell you everything about the card in question
www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs

The HD Graphics 2000 was an integrated graphics solution by Intel, launched on February 1st, 2011. Built on the 32 nm process, and based on the Sandy Bridge GT1 graphics processor, the device supports DirectX 11.1. Even though it supports DirectX 11, the feature level is only 10_1, which can be problematic with many DirectX 11 & DirectX 12 titles. It features 48 shading units, 6 texture mapping units, and 1 ROP. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 650 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1000 MHz.
Its power draw is not exactly known.

Replace your video card with something current or replace the PC
I have said this before that DAMN CARD IS NOT DX11 compatible

Nothing you do will make the EESDR software work correctly, until you replace the GPU!
Please do not email me and ask for help I no longer will be part of this, If I could delete /remove my profile I would do so.

You have answered your own question:

ANYDESK and EESDR do not work together there is PORT conflicts!

As noted by the previous comments Anydesk is a pain in the a***s

Look up this link EESDR FAQ "ExpertSDR2 SOFTWARE paragraph #1" to resolve the port conflict.

Ok, thanks for the info, I also suspected something with graphics card, but because there is no error message it is hard to point out what is going on. My graphics card is actually Intel HD Graphics 2000 built in a Dell desktop. If that is the root cause is good to know to try to resolve it. Interesting is that first releases of EESDR3 started ok even in an older graphics card, but perhaps DirectX 11 requirement came after the first EESDR3 release or that card supported DirectX11 I tried in that time. I need to investigate that graphics card what it is.

I have no problems with Anydesk when ports are set correctly in EESDR2. And ports are not specifically Anydesk problem, it just tends to be so that two software tries to use the same ports which ends up in a conflict. Either needs to make an evasive move. What I don't have analysed yet in my network is if EESDR3 brings some other type of traffic compared to EESDR2 and that is blocked by something.

In your case the 740 error is because the dynamic link library can't create the DirectX process, because the video card driver doesn't support true DX11.

turn off the internal onboard GPU and find a card that supports true DX11 or better DX12 since windows 11 is eventually going to pretty much need DX12 as will most likely V3 to take advantage of better graphics.

And I'm more then 80% sure your problems will be resolved

Also that is why I know that card is bogus DX11 from a previous issue someone had which was that card
