Power Amplifier Delay RX > TX in ExpertSDR3 working? 01 Jun 2022 02:21 #1

Hi,
I am driving an Alpha linear amplifier using the DB15 - RCA cable. (Isolated)
In ExtertSDR2 software if I set a RX > TX delay to a long periad for a test, I can see the delay before power is driven.(e.g. 1000 ms)
In SDR3 software i can't do that. The Delay TX > RX seems to work as expected.
Anybody? Don't want to hotswitch the amp.

Hello,
RX->TX delay is controlled via ESDR3, you can't see it on the ExtCtrl connector, because TRX will immediately turn to TX mode, but transmission itself will start after the set delay.
TX->RX delay you can see on the ExtCtrl connector because it's controlled via hardware.

TX->RX delay doesn't work in ESDR3 0.12.1, it'll be fixed in 0.13.0.
