Really George ????
The 1.3.0 RC 3 and another fault just came out. Randomly when doing ptt does not enter audio, (it does not happen only to me) I think it is incredible that every time they release a version it goes out with even more failures.
The truth ... maybe I'm regretting buying this sdr.
Regards

Hi Expert and All
Version 1.3.0 RC 7 sometimes no modulation. Only when I press PTT again, or I speak again in Vox, modulation is there again.
Do you have a DownLoad - Link for the 1.3.0 RC 2, this Version works fine.
Crackling Problem when I Browse in I-Net by Audioutput (RX).
I reported this Bug when I use the Chrome Brower, now is this in Firefox also.

OOPS - SORRY.

For SunSDRPro2, the closest to RC2 that is available for download is Beta 7

Or revert to 1.2.0

Hi Expert
The modulation is still dropping, but not so often.
This I found yesterday on 160m with Vox - operation.
Version 1.3.0 RC 4 error still persists
Please check

After updating to 1.3.0 the SM button(analog S-Metre window) dissapeared. Why? it was a nice tool.

Hi Roman et al,

after switching to ExpertSDR2 Version 1.3.0 (using SunSDR2pro with Firmware 44.8, which by the way is still listed as 43.dd on your SunSDR2pro software download page) I realised that obviously the settings for audio channel selection (sound card and VAC) are no longer stored in the profile definition as it was under Version 1.2.

I usually used this for switching between Phone (sound card on) and Digital modes (VAC on by vac_enable=true under [SUNSDR2_VAC0]).

Attempting to generate new profiles with different names under 1.3.0 didn´t help at all, apparently are the button selections |Headset symbol| ´On/Off Audio to PC´s sound card´ and |VAC| ´On/Off Virtual Audio Cable´ no longer stored in the profile settings.

I would much appreciate if the audio channel selection / setting could be restored for the profile definition.

Best regards,
Bodo

It is a known bug already mentioned in the Forum and will be corrected in 1.3.1

Hi Erik,
thanks for your reply, this bug might be well in the forum but is not listed in the 1.3.0 Release Notes. As you already mentionned frustration goes high as you and most others need a good radio with working software (as the categoy SDR already implies).

I entirely fail to understand why previously working functionalities, which accidently have been destroyed by the addition of new features, should wait for a subsequent subrelease 1.3.1 with new features. Destroyed previously working functionality should be restored fast by a correction release of 1.3.0.x before addition of any new features.

Cheers
Bodo

Yes I understand you, dear Bodo. I mention bug report only so that you know the matter is in hand at EE. At least I hope it is, Roman did acknowledge previous reports.

Regarding your second point, yes well I cannot repeat my thoughts but you know them and it just seems that EE have a different way.

I, Like others await for the new features in MB1 SDR2 releases.
Just updates to 1.3.0 Release one. Looks fine so far. But I am stuck on one of the new features.
The TX signal analyzer in TX PROC module.
Just HOW do you bring up the TX spectrum scope as shown here? -> eesdr.com/images/TX_signal_analyzer.png
Thanks

Click the down arrow to the right of PROC in the software and select "Show Analyser".

Hello gentlemen,
just upgraded from 1.2.0 to 1.3.1 beta1 on OSX Catalina.
working fine but some small issues:

- AM output seems too high - drive slider all the way to the right gives 15.2 Watts carrier output; this should be around 1/4 PEP = 20/4 = 5 Watts.
(I have adjusted power correction to 20 max on tune, the AM carrier output is still 12.6 Watt)

- line out to WAV file produces distorted output (too loud).

Or is there a way to adjust AM carrier or WAV output level?

Thanks!
Martin - PE1BIW
