TOPIC: RF-KIT PA natively supports TCI

TCI native support of the RF-KIT PA 31 Jul 2021 00:26 #1

:stars: No issue, just as information. With the newest firmware G91C109 the RF-Kit PA now has native support for TCI. I just upgraded and am enthusiastic. I already liked the UDP support, but now with the direct TCI connection the TX frequecy is available immediate, fast and reliably (and wireless anyway).
And there is much more potential to it in the communication PA with EESDR. .
Thank you SunSDR, RF-Kit team and Yuri, UT4LW, for getting it there for us.

Hello Gert,
no, you need to put the IP of the computer EESDR is running on.

TCI native support of the RF-KIT PA 27 Dec 2021 13:47 #4

Hello : )

I have tried to connect my RF2K-S via SDC. Unsuccessful so far. The IP of the PC with ExpertSDR2 and SDC is entered in the PA. I have entered a port other than the one for ExpertSDR TCI to SDC. In SDC IP from my RF2K-S with the choosen port.

Are there any examples or instructions for this case?

EDIT:
I have just connected the PA directly to EESDR2 via port 40001. It works immediately. I'm afraid I didn't understand the point of PA control via SDC. Unfortunately, this is not described for the RF2K-S in the SDC manual. it seems to be intended only for a CAT port. I was hoping for PTT via TCI.
