Morning all - strange issue experienced here since updating to macOS Monterey 12.2. I thought all was working fine, alas not.
It appears that ExpertSDR3 does not have permission to access the microphone and as such I have no audio getting to RF when using the Microphone PC on my Mac. Using Microphone 2 with a hand held mic works fine. ExpertSDR2 also works fine.
When checking the security preferences for the microphone I see that ExpertSDR2 has been granted access and is listed, but I do not see ExpertSDR3 in the list and I am unsure why this is the case. Could anyone using Monterey with SunSDR2DX do a quick check for me to see if ExpertSDR3 also appears in this list please.
Also, does anyone know how to manually grant microphone access permissions to an app please? I don't see any add/+ buttons on this screen in preferences.
Thanks all GW3JVB
It's probably a driver that intercepts the microphone. I use an ICOM and its drivers (Silicon Labs) which often take over the audio sources. You can go to the MIDI settings (utilities - MIDI configuration) to make your settings
