Please do these measurements:
- set Drive to 0
- PTT on and
- measure current consumption, it must be 1...1.5 A

I think you have the dynamic MH31 Microphone that is for my opinion - unusable.
Played many hours with EQ-Settings (Gain max), compressor on, Mic Gain max, Mic AGC on and can see around 1W max (also on my PEP Meter).
Tested also various PC-Headsets (dynamic and electret), they are better and usable but really not good - no punch.
Think it´s a problem in the Software Mic-AGC...

The output from my QRP on CW/Digi is OK @14V from 5W up to 8W max..

Thank you but these settings are for a Headset, which one? I use MH31, Sennheiser PC131 and a NoName, with all of them there´s good audio but nearly no gain (EQ Gain max, Mic Gain max, Amplitude max 6dB, Comp on with high ratio and so on...) I think i have tested everything possible in the settings...
PEP out is 1W when i´m talking loud and close to the Microphone, average shows zero.

Any solution or idea from Expert/Rome?

These settings are valid for all PC headsets with electret capsule.
Mike gain is 38 dB for my headset on Mic2 connector.
Maybe you have to reflash the firmware ... :unknown:
Otherwise, I have no idea what it can be.
