Hello,

At this moment I can run Expert SDR software under linux by using command ./ExpertSDR2.sh , but would be nice if I could start program from desktop using icon for executable.

This question is more related to LINUX, where I am just a beginner. I use LINUX on a small laptop, so I can also use my SunSDR2 QRP in the field. This laptop is too small to run windows.

When someone has an idea of how to create an icon on the desktop, that would be appreciated,

Hi, what is your desktop manager? KDE or something else?
On my KDE (KUbuntu 20.04) I just right click on a empty area on the desktop, then select Add->Link to Application.
