There have been some problems & bugs recently in the Expert SDR2 x64 v.1.3.1. MB1
I see Version 4 is now available for download, is this latest version OK with relatively "bug free" performance?

Well. I answered my own question. I downloaded the Version 4 & it operated fine on CW but I had to reconfigure a few bits for DATA - RTTY & PSK. I haven't tried SSB yet.

It is pretty much ok, Ray. I tested it for a week on all modes without any bugs seen, just the previously reported performance problems compared to 1.2

Good Morning,
I was looking to install 1.3.4 version this morning.
I picked the English language and then it asks the following questions.
An old version exists, do you want to uninstall it?
I hit the yes.
It then asks the question, Are you sure you want to remove Expert SDR MB1 and all of its components.
I am not sure how to answer this question.
I am afraid that if I say yes it will delete all my settings that I saved before starting this process.
How should I proceed?

Hello Arno, that seems like 2 issues.

The speaker: either in the software or in the MB1 Utility, enabling speaker should work.

Windows noise: to keep Windows noise artifacts out of the SDR, do not have Windows sound (Sound out from PC) enabled.

It also helps to have 'Use wide RX filter' off and only have 'auto enable' checked, so that it does come on when needed.

In the Options>Device>Expert tab, ensure DITH is unchecked. I expect it already is.

If the above do not fix the issue, or you already have these settings, please refer to Roman. He can help.

Erik.
